CalMHSA is inviting community feedback on the existing landscape analysis of core competencies for Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists specializations. Below you will see two documents for each area of specialization- The core competency layout and the landscape analysis. The Core competency layout provides a quick snapshot of all the identified core competency curriculum for the 3 areas of specializations. The landscape analyses are CalMHSA reviewed detailed information of core competency curriculum for each area of specialization sourced from both locally and nationally available resources. The landscape analyses have undergone several reviews from subject matter experts within California and presented at several advisory councils. Please utilize the feedback form links below to provide feedback. The last day to provide comments and feedback would be at 5pm on 24th March 2023. We intend to identify the final core competencies for each area of specialization by 31st March 2023, and the identified core competencies will be distributed.
