NAMI San Diego & Imperial Coun es is an independent affiliate of the Na onal Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) na onal organiza on. Our over 20 programs include: peer support programs, support groups, a peer warmline, and trainings for peer/family support specialists.

Mission and Values: To Support, Educate and Advocate to improve the lives of everyone living with behavioral health and their loved ones. Our goal as Training Vendors of CalMHSA is to provide an excep onal Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Training that prepares individuals to successfully serve our communities.

Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Training Schedule

Training Method: Hybrid

Training Modality:  Cohort Syle

Training Length: 13 days (80 hours)

Training Hours: Typically, Mon-Fri, four hours daily for 2.5 weeks, plus self-study and
