Agency Biography

RI International has been a recognized leader in the development of sophisticated and effective peer support workforces since 1990. RI Employs one of the largest peer workforces in the world with over 70 % of its’ 1,015 employees identifying with living experience of recovery from mental health and/or substance use challenges. Our Crisis Care Specialization Training is engaging, relevant, challenging and transformative. This training holds the high expectation that people can overcome challenges and succeed. Recovery is the expectation, not the exception©. Our graduates take with them an intense belief in the reality that recovery is possible for everyone and a mature, ethically developed inspiration to perform this professional work as well. RI International is a Medi-Cal Peer Support Certification trainer, approved by CalMHSA. Specialization Trainings for Medi-Cal Peer Support Certification offered include Parent, Caregiver, Family Member Peer Training and Crisis Care Training.
