Submitting Changes to Training Provider Curriculum

We want to ensure that the training content provided meets the high standards set forth by CalMHSA. Therefore, any substantive changes to training curricula previously approved by CalMHSA must receive prior approval before implementation.
 
  • Submission Requirements: If you plan on making changes to approved training curricula, please submit your new curriculum requests at least 90 calendar days in advance for review.
  • Format and Presentation: The updated curricula must be in PDF format and clearly display all changes made to the original material. 
  • Training Certificates: Changes to training certificates must be submitted in Microsoft Word using track changes or highlighting to indicate modifications.
  • Copyright Compliance: Ensure that all training materials and supplemental training materials submitted are free from copyright restrictions. If you wish to incorporate material from another organization, written approval must be obtained from the organization before utilization.
  • Utilization of Template: Providers must utilize the Training Curriculum Modification Request Template (available for download on this page) for all submission requests.
  • Training Restriction: Providers are prohibited from conducting training sessions using new curricula or using training certificates until approval has been obtained from CalMHSA.
