Futuro Health is pleased to offer a self-paced, instructor facilitation learning program for those interested in a Career as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS). Enrollment in our online PSS course is simple, and students can start immediately. Best of all, it prepares you for the Medi-Cal Peer Support Certification Exam. Students receive support from enrollment advisors, support team, and industry professionals that facilitate their journey from the moment they enroll through obtaining their state certification.

Our program is designed for those who have overcome addiction, trauma, or other behavioral and mental health disorders, and/or the guardian, parent, or caregiver of someone with these experiences. The Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Training Course is designed to empower and inspire others to achieve recovery through the lenses of personal life experiences. Developed by behavioral health experts, Futuro Health’s Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist program focuses on cultural competency, addiction recovery, trauma-informed care, mental health, and substance use, providing needed training for a fulfilling career in behavioral or mental health to guide others to positive outcomes.
