Agency Biography

Since its foundation, Monrovia Community Adult School (MCAS) in California has fostered lifelong learning and community development. Since the mid-20th century, MCAS has offered Monrovia adults educational opportunities for personal growth, job advancement, and academic accomplishment. To meet the needs of its varied population, the school has grown into a valuable resource for students seeking personal growth.

For various educational and career phases, MCAS provides multiple programs. Examples include GED preparation, ESL, career technical education, and citizenship training. To prepare for competition, students might attend enrichment classes in computer, financial, behavioral, and health education.

Monrovia and its communities are diverse, and the school serves many. Adult high school graduates, immigrants and refugees learning English to become citizens, and job changers are students. MCAS provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic origins.
