The UCLA Partners for Wellbeing provides training and technical assistance to community-based organizations with a holistic foundation for addressing inequities and advancing well-being for all.

By offering Continuing Education (CE) program(s), we aim to empower and support Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists in their ongoing education.

The courses are designed to strengthen the peer workforce by offering resources to promote Peer Support Specialists’ educational goals and application of skills throughout their career.

This program provides instructional, self-paced modules, including supplemental materials, allowing participants to access education on demand, at a time and location that is most convenient to them. The courses vary by topic and range from foundational to advanced skills and practice. By utilizing a community-partnered approach to curriculum development, we ensure that content is relevant for roles and needs of peers across service settings in Los Angeles County. Our materials incorporate academic rigor with a peer lens expertise.
