Futuro Health is pleased to offer a remote, instructor-facilitated Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist (PSS) Training Program designed for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Our flexible online program combines self-paced coursework with guidance and support from experienced instructors, enrollment advisors, and industry professionals, helping students succeed from enrollment through certification.

Our program is designed for those who have overcome addiction, trauma, or other behavioral and mental health disorders, and/or the guardian, parent, or caregiver of someone with these experiences. The Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Training Course is designed to empower and inspire others to achieve recovery through the lenses of personal life experiences. Developed by behavioral health experts, Futuro Health’s Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist program focuses on cultural competency, addiction recovery, trauma-informed care, mental health, and substance use, providing needed training for a fulfilling career in behavioral or mental health to guide others to positive outcomes.

Futuro Health has been a CalMHSA Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Approved Training provider since 2022. We are committed to helping students graduate and find a job in their communities. Starting our online program today is the first step to a rewarding career supporting those in need.

Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Training Schedule

Training Length: 80 Hours over the course of 10 weeks

Training Hours: 24 hour access
