InterCoast Colleges, founded in 1985 in Orange County, California, provides training in multiple vocational disciplines, and equips students with practical skills for in-demand careers. InterCoast’s largest program, the Alcohol and Drug Counseling program, has produced thousands of graduates that have entered challenging workforce.
InterCoast is proud to announce it is now offering a Medi-Cal Peer Support Program to California residents, designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to become effective peer support specialists. This 80 hours covers essential core competencies essential for providing peer support services. Participants will gain an understanding of hope, recovery, wellness, advocacy, cultural competence, trauma-informed care, and other critical topics.
InterCoast has four Campus locations in California and an online division. InterCoast maintains a commitment to providing quality education and hands-on training, and partners with industry professionals and employers, to ensure its curriculum remains relevant and aligns with industry needs.

Training Length: 80 Clock Hours consisting of 8 Weeks – Two sessions per week
Training Hours: In Person class meets from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm every Monday and Saturday
Registration Capacity: 45 students maximum per cohort
