Parents Anonymous® Inc. is a peer-driven organization delivering Evidence-Based Programs since 1969. Our courageous and tenacious founder, Jolly K, through her substance use and mental health recovery journey, in shared leadership® with a social worker, Leonard Lieber, created a national mutual support organization of parents committed to enhancing their well-being while building on the strengths of their children, family, and communities. Through direct services, advocacy and research, Parents Anonymous® Parents, Children & Youth Peer Leaders have worked to improve services and policies that achieve equity, diversity and mutual respect for all families nationwide. We value and understand the tremendous benefit of peer lived expertise to provide Evidence-Based Supportive Services to diverse families. We are committed to a dynamic and unique Peer Certification Training that ensures mutual respect, social justice, inclusion and values the importance of lived expertise. Parents Anonymous® also is funded to provide job placement for those who qualify; expanding the workforce and creating access to diverse individuals statewide.
Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Training Schedule:
Training Method: Online, Asynchronous and Custom (Organizations with a minimum of 15 participants may request a custom session date which can be in-person, online, or hybrid of classes in-person and online.)

Training Length and Hours: Varies
Fast Track: 2 Weeks, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, No Weekends
After Work: 8 Weeks, Monday – Friday, 6:00pm – 8:00pm, No Weekends
Saturday: 10 Weeks, Saturday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
