Job Board
Welcome!
The job board supports county behavioral health departments and community agencies in recruiting Peer Support Specialists. This resource is part of the Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification program, strengthening the behavioral health workforce across California by connecting qualified candidates with roles in behavioral health statewide.
Developed in collaboration with the Department of Health Care Services, the job board allows employers to:
- Create and post job announcements for Peer Support Specialists
- Provide direct application links to their websites
- Manage, monitor, close or renew job postings through the employer dashboard
Eligible Job Listings
- The position must require the applicant to hold or obtain Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist (CMPSS) certification.
- The job duties must align with the defined scope of practice for Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists (CMPSS).
- The job listing supports the county behavioral health plan’s workforce, including its contracted network.
Job Posting Requirements
- Job postings must be submitted using an official work email domain (e.g., company domain). Personal email addresses (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) will not be accepted.
- Each posting must include a valid external job post URL.
- All submissions are subject to review and approval by CalMHSA before being published.
- Listings will automatically expire after 60 days.
- A reminder email will be sent 10 days before expiration with instructions for renewal.
