Agency Biography

Crestwood Recovery Resilience Solutions (CRRS) has extensive experience providing training and educational opportunities for peers. CRRS is a CalMHSA Approved provider for the Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist (CMPSS) training, the CMPSS Specialization training for Parent, Caregiver, and Family Member, and the CMPSS Specialization training for working with individuals who are justice involved.

To meet diverse training needs, CRRS curricula is designed and created by individuals with a lived experience to support individuals with a lived experience. CRRS is a department of people with a combined lived recovery experience of 450 years. We are also a group of professionals with a combined working experience of 300 years of serving, mentoring, coaching, and training people who receive behavioral health services; practitioner staff who do the serving; and behavioral and/or integrated health organizations and systems that deliver those services. Our training approach uses best-practice adult learning principles and is highly interactive and skill-based.

Training Method: In-Person (Onsite) / Online (Live-facilitated)

Training Modality:  Cohort

Training Location(s):  Cohort
Onsite training can be scheduled in consultation with participants when a cohort minimum of 12 individuals is available;
Online training will be scheduled bi-monthly.

Training Length:
The 40 hour Onsite/In-Person training is one week in duration (typically Monday through Friday);
The 40 hour Online training is two weeks in duration (sessions are four hours each day, Monday through Friday)

Training Hours:
Onsite training is typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 am- 5:00 pm (alternate scheduling is possible for onsite training);
Online training is typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 am- 12:30 pm (alternate scheduling is possible with planning)

Registration Capacity:
Onsite training is typically limited to 22 participants in a cohort, in order to ensure transfer of knowledge and application of skills.
Online training is typically limited to 16 individuals in order to ensure transfer of knowledge and application of skills.
