Agency Biography
Crestwood Recovery Resilience Solutions (CRRS) delivers dynamic, peer-led training programs that prepare individuals for certification and placement as Peer Support Specialists (PSS). With more than 450 combined years of lived recovery experience, our facilitators bring deep insight and professionalism to every learning environment. CRRS has trained and placed thousands of peer professionals across California, other U.S. states, and internationally.
We specialize in adult learning using an Instructor-Led /Participant-Centered (IL/PC) approach that emphasizes interactivity, engagement, and practical skill development. CRRS supports statewide behavioral health workforce development through partnerships with the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), county behavioral health departments, and provider agencies.
Our mission is rooted in cultural humility and trauma-informed care, ensuring equitable, inclusive educational experiences. Whether through certification training, mentorship, or systems integration, CRRS is advancing the peer support workforce to build recovery-oriented systems of care that transform lives and communities.

Training Length: 40 Hours
Training Hours: Typically 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (can be adjusted for cohorts hosted by county or provider agency)
Registration Capacity: Maximum online cohort size is 18 students, maximum onsite cohort is 22 students
