Agency Biography

Sterling Solutions is a peer led and operated 501C3 nonprofit organization in San Bernardino County. Our mission is to increase and wellness recovery outcomes for BIPOC behavioral health consumers, especially those with barriers, by providing supported pathways to positive social engagement, advocacy, upward mobility and income security.
We conduct and facilitate linkage to trainings, and workshops for a range of mental health occupations in San Bernardino and Riverside County California. We educate consumers and families about their rights under the Mental Health Services Act and encourage and facilitate consumer and family participation in the community program planning process.
Our goals include:
• Increase the quality of wellness and recovery for BIPOC behavioral health consumers
• Provide productive and meaningful vocational opportunities for consumers
• Facilitate career pathways for professionals, paraprofessionals and peers
Advocate to improve systems and services affecting the quality of mental health wellness and recovery.

Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Training Schedule

Training Method: Online/Asynchronous

Training Modality:  Cohort (Self-paced)

Training Length: 8 – 10 weeks

Training Hours: At own pace; office hours M-F 9am-5pm, weekly check-in Wednesdays 6pm

Registration Capacity: 32 participants per cohort
