Agency Biography

WERC is a nonprofit organization that connects disadvantaged workers with stable, good jobs. A long-time champion of peer specialists, we recently published a report highlighting the importance of peers and recommending leadership roles and promotional pathways for workers with lived experience. WERC is a recognized provider of quality training for people with lived experience in mental health and substance use for roles as Community Health Workers, Case Managers, and Residential Aides.

Training Length: 80 hours (self-paced)

Training Hours: Content always available on-demand, including recorded live seminars
